THE NORTH COAST AND THE NAZCA LINES
In this journey, we travel to the mystical Nazca lines - giant land drawings of the creatures of Pachamama. We will fly over the lines so that we can see them completely as well as having the opportunity to walk by the lines themselves. As in all our journeys, we will work in sacred ceremonies in the sacred sites that we go to. From Nazca, we go to the Paracas reserve, the clay there having been used for centuries by the local people. We go to Huaraz, traveling through the Cordillera Blanca, the White Mountain Range. In the area of Huaraz, we will go to Lagunas Llanganuco, lagoons of great beauty, set in the valley of Apu Huascaran. We travel onto Chavin de Huantar and to San Pedro de Casma. The Chavin were the Jaguar people and we will have ceremony in the temples there. We go then to Sechin near Trujillo, where there are massive monoliths depicted with animal and human figures, and the Sun and Moon Temples at Chan Chan. We continue onto Chiclayo. There we go to the Brunning Museum, Tucume Pyramids, and Pacatnamu, a tomb of a woman who was a known shaman of great power. We travel then to Piura and Huancabamba, Salala and the Shimbe Lagoon. From Huancabamba and Piura, we return to Lima and then to the States.
