The Apus and The Jungles themselves have created two journeys
into Peru for those who are energetically ready to be guided. One must be
energetically independent and able to listen, unconditionally, to the Divine
Guidance given directly to him/her, to get out of his/her own way and step in,
with no limitations that are self-imposed. Open your hearts and "hear" the
invitation that The Apus and The Jungles are giving you. When that calling
comes, one must go, whether or not if it feels "right", just in the knowing
that one has to follow that calling. Descriptions of these two journeys are
shown in the next two pages. Listen and get ready to step unconditionally into
Service and into Life.
While the Mountains are the Heart, the Amazon is the Blood
that runs through the Heart. Spending two weeks in the Jungles, we have the
real opportunity to become part of the Primal Force of Life there. We will work
in deep sacred ceremony with Don Ignacio, who is a Master Ayahuascaro, enabling
us to see with the crystalline clarity of the ayahuasca. Part of this journey
will be camping in the jungles. We travel to the Macaw Clay Lick, where
thousands of macaws come for an enzyme in the clay that they need to digest
their food. The stillness that we will encounter here is that of Otorongo, the
Jaguar. It is through the eyes of Otorongo that we will be able to find the
stillness deep within the center of the core of our being. In this way, we can
bring that gift back with us, sharing it with the world. It is hard to put what
the Jungles truly are into words. Having spent time there, I can only say that
through the very stillness of the Jungles, I came to know the pulsing flow of
Life within me. It is, at once, quiet and still, and vibrant and motion. It is
with this in mind that you have the opportunity here to shed all that is
external and become clean.
